We are very excited to announce that even more Poochie Bells will be available very soon from our shop. We first discovered Poochie Bells when we were on holiday in South Carolina at Hilton Head where the Salty Dog Cafe has amongst other things their very own Poochie Bells. They are a new product in the UK and right now we are the only online stockists, so what exactly are they are they?Well if you want to train your dog to let you know when they want to go outside to take care of some business Poochie Bells may be the answer for you. Our dog Dougal normally just goes to sit by the door when he wants to go out hoping that we will notice him. On occasions we have not spotted him and once or twice we have ended up with a puddle on the floor. So with the Poochie Bells which simply hang on the door handle you can, with a little patience train your pooch to ring the bells when they want to go outside. (Even the cats use them sometimes if they are feeling lazy and do not want to use the cat flap!) They come in a great range of colours and designs, the various stripes are our favourites, soon we will have some seasonal sets which would look great matched with your christmas decorations. We will be stocking some replacement ribbons so you can ring the changes as well as some very cute pewter hooks if you want to attach them next to the door instead of hanging on the door handle. We have a limited range available right now as they are the most popular product currently in the shop but more are on the way to us so if you fancy a unique and functional present for your pooch or your poochie pals then make sure you check back soon.
Every now and then we find something that makes us say "why did we not think of that?" and the Doggee Poo Holder is a prime example. A soft ball shape holder which you can stuff with between 5 and 10 Poo bags (depending on the type you use) attached to a spring lever key ring. Available in 6 great colour choices, attach your keys to your Doggee and you will never leave home without that essential poo bag again! This ingenious device was created when the inventor Jaq Croft realised that she always turned up at the supermarket without her recycle bags! So the Baggee was born, a handball shaped key ring that holds up to 2 to 3 normal supermarket carrier bags, so you always have carrier bags with you when you go shopping. It did not take Jaq long to think of other applications for this ingenious yet so simple device. We have a full selection of the Doggee designs at Dougals Den and they retail for a very reasonable £4.95, even better if you would like to test one out for us we are looking for three testers who will receive a FREE Doggee to try out. We think it is a great product, but as always it is your feedback that counts! All you have to do to be in with a chance of being a tester is comment on this blog post telling us why you want to be a tester, we will select three at random and then the testing can commence. You don't get much for free these days so why not give it a go, what have you got to lose? Zack The Hack
